Arlene Pamela Norales, born on October 17, 1972, in the picturesque Belize District of
Belize, passed away on December 9, 2025, at Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in St.
Petersburg, Florida. Arlene’s journey through life was marked by her unwavering
spirit, deep compassion, and a profound love for her family.
She was the beloved daughter of Arthur Percival Jones and Jean Elswith Noralez, and
she is preceded in death by her loving parents, her sister Nicole Indrid Norales, her
brother, Russell Jones, and her cherished maternal and paternal grandparents,
Josephine Sampson and Eric Norales, as well as Arthur Jones, Sr. and Dorothy Jones.
Arlene’s legacy, however, lives on through her devoted family. She is survived by her
daughter Gelaine Lord, her son George Lord, her sister Catherine Jones, and her
brother Erneil Norales. She was a proud grandmother to Cairo Ford and a cherished
aunt to her nephew Malique Meighan. Arlene also leaves behind her beloved aunt, Elsa
Enriquez Sampson, uncles Felix Norales Sampson and Wellington C. Ramos, and a
host of of other aunts, uncles, cousins, and relatives in both the United States and
Belize.
Arlene dedicated her professional life as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Orlando
Health Bayfront Hospital, where she provided care and compassion to countless
patients. Her work was not merely a job; it was a calling that reflected her nurturing
personality and her commitment to helping others.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Arlene was a woman of many passions. Her
proudest achievement was undoubtedly her role as a mother, a title she wore with pride
and dedication. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including reading,
writing—especially poetry—solving crossword puzzles, and enjoying sports. Her
warm-hearted personality and infectious laughter endeared her to those who had the
privilege of knowing her.
Friends and family will remember Arlene not just for her talents and interests, but for
the unwavering love and support she provided to those around her. Her presence lit up
every room, and her ability to connect with others will be profoundly missed.
A funeral service to celebrate Arlene’s life will be held on January 16, 2025, at Veterans
Funeral Care, beginning at 11:00 AM. In the spirit of honoring her memory, we invite
all who knew and loved her to join us in a celebration of her remarkable life.
