I am so sorry for your loss. He was an amazing man and I only wish I had made time to learn more about his life. You will all keep the wonderful memories alive in your hearts and enlighten us with the stories. Find strength in the people that care; and there are lots of those. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time and always. Take care of each other.
Peg and family,
I read Rene’s brief biography. He sounded like a truly amazing individual with a very rich and wonderfully interesting life. Thanks for sharing his story. I know you will fiercely miss him, but will have some comfort in that his life had
Peg,
Our fathers shared a lot in common. My Dad was a WWII veteran also, and died a month ago at the same age. Had they had the chance to meet, I’m sure they would have found many other things in common. I know what you’re going though. I’m right there with you.
Please pass my condolences on to your family.
Simon
You are in my thoughts. What an inspiring service.
Mary and Rene were wonderful neighbors for so many years on Walnut Hill Road. It was from their garden that I learned green beans need not be grey and wimpy. Peggy and David, take good care of your mother and yourselves and if I can do anything, let me know.
I did not know Mr. Boulay but when I read his obituary I could not pass it by without honoring him for his service to our country. I can see from the photographs that he leaves behind a loving family. My sympathy goes to each of you. God bless.
Curtis and I were saddened to hear of your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Dear Mary,
We were saddened to read of Rene’s passing. We have fond memories of very stimulating, interesting, and fun conversations with both of you and thoroughly enjoyed the times we had together. He was a fascinating, intelligent man and will be
Dave,
I never met your dad, but I do know the love and devotion you have for him. One of our first conversations when we met was of your father and your profound respect and admiration for him. You, your mom and sister are in my thoughts and prayers. My best to all of you as you find your way through this time of loss.
Sincerely,
Mikey
Mary and family,
I don’t expect you to remember me, but Rene was my first supervisor when I started working as a Clerical Asst. at the Agency in A7 way back in the 60’s. John was Rene’s deputy can’t remember his last name and Art sat next to Rene another last name gone from my memory. Ginny Sittler also sat near us. I have fond memories of those days, because Rene was such a kind and considerate person to work for. I believe that was around the time the two of you were married and started your family. Please accept my condolences and know that even though you may not hear from them, there are lots of people from those Agency days who remember Rene fondly.
Sincerely,
Linda Vaeth Boyle
Dave my condolences to you and your family. It was truly an honor to have met your father. You should be very proud to be a descendent of a truly honorable man. You don’t have to look far for a great roll model. PLease let me know of any help I can provide for you and your family.
I never met Rene’ Boulay, but I know from reading his book, he must’ve been a very intelligent, well-read man. I wonder how much of our true history on this planet he actually knew from being an intelligence analyst for the government. I would love if his wife or daughter or son would communicate with me via email.
