It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of David Kemler on May 25, 2021 (73). David was born in Hazleton, PA on May 29, 1947 to Donald and Margaret (née Nicolodi) Kemler. He was the second of three sons (Donald and Michael). The Kemler’s moved to Levittown, PA in the 50s. David graduated from (formerly) Woodrow Wilson High School in 1965.
He served in the Navy and afterward attended classes at Bucks County Community College and the University of Pennsylvania. He met his wife of nearly 50 years, Dianne Kulwicki, in 1970 and they were married on October 23, 1971. They moved to Morrisville, PA in 1973. They welcomed their daughter, Dory, in 1977 and their son, Daniel, in 1987. They moved to Pinellas County, FL in 1990. He worked for several hospitals and labs in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Florida throughout his lifetime, ultimately retiring as a Histologist and becoming a laboratory consultant.
He also travelled across the country for many years as the executive producer of The Newlywed Game live show. He owned several entertainment businesses, where he managed musical acts and as well as produced theater and TV productions. In 2014, he earned his P.h.D. in metaphysiology and began his work as a spiritual counselor. He is predeceased by his parents and older brother, Donald. He is survived by his loving wife, his children, daughter-in-law and six grandchildren: Christopher, Andrea, Vincent and Valerie (Dory); Eli and Lilah (Daniel and Lauren); and extended family throughout the U.S. Services will be held at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Largo, TBD.
Diane we are so very sorry to hear about David. It just doesn’t rel, he was so active and always made us laugh. Know that we are just a phone call away and we can continue to get together. You and Dory and Dan will be in our prayers for comfort and healing
