Lonnie Magnus Arbaugh, 85, of Valrico, FL died August 23, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loved ones, following a short illness. Lonnie was born in Salida, Colorado on June 27, 1938 to his late parents, Ester Lofgren and Lonnie L. Arbaugh. He joined his wife of 31 years, Christine Arbaugh, in marriage on December 25, 1991 in Largo, FL. Their union was the greatest gift of all. Lonnie worked for the US Postal Service before retiring and served 17 years in the Marine Corps. He is survived by his wife, Christine, his sister, Ester, his sons, Lonnie, Randy, Rick, Jason, and Todd, his daughters, Sherrie, Crystal, and Lesley, his grandchildren, Holly, Sheyanne, Jody, Carrie, Tina, Ricky, and Jennifer, as well as, several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. His dedication to his country and his family will not soon be forgotten. A funeral service will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL on September 14th, 2023 at 12:30PM.

Uncle Lonnie was truly one of the greatest very inspirational to me. I always enjoyed visiting with him. I’m glad I was able to enjoy stopping and visiting with him over the past few years while I was trucking through the area. He will be missed by all of those who have had the privilege of knowing him. My heart and prayers go to you all. Love you.
Uncle Lonnie was a great man. He inspired me my entire life to be the best person I could be. He set an example of what a real caring human being does, each and every day. Love you uncle Lonnie.
