Stanley Lee Parrin, age 97, of South Pasadena, FL died on January 10th, 2024 at home, following a short illness. On February 5th, 1925, he was born in Dupa, Illinois to his parents, Amy Agnes Lyle and Earl Stanley Parrin. He married his wife of 40 years, Marcy Beth Gresham, on January 20th, 1984 in St Louis, MO. He was a VFW life member in Illinois and he spent most of his career serving the Navy during world war II in the Philippines. He is preceded in death by his parents and also by his son, Dennis Parrin. He is survived by Marcy Parrin, Earl Parrin, Neil Parrin, Scott Shiplett, Jody Bierman, Elizabeth Bierman Roth, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held in his honor on February 5th, 2024 at Bay Pines National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. located at 10000 Bay Pines Blvd, St. Petersburg, FL 33708
