Daddy~I know you said ’no tears’ but it is difficult to not cry because of losing you. You were the first man I ever fell in love with. Along with Mom, you are one of THE rocks in my life. Now one of my anchors is gone, but what you taught me, shared with me and the love you’ve shown me will live on. Because of you and Mom, I have great children who will also carry on what you have taught me. Always, I am proud to be the daughter of ’a stubborn, bullheaded Polack’. You know I called you that with all the respect, love and admiration a daughter can have for a father. I am so glad you’re in heaven so we will be able to spend all of eternity together. As the song says “Save a place for me”. I love you Daddy!!!
Dad,
You will be missed very much. You have always been there for me and I am so glad that you are my father. thank you for giving me a “wonderful life”
your loving son, Art

Having only met Al Gadomski Sr. a few times, I was struck by the warmth and genuineness of his presence. A man of strong character, I believe he had that same effect wherever he went. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. May God bless.
Sincere condolences to the Gadomski family. We pray God’s ministering angels touch you and give you His peace during this time. John 14:27
Mom – I pray the peace that passes all understanding, The Comforter, the very same Holy Spirit that Jesus promised us, be yours today and always. I love ya Ma Pa: What a pleasure and an absolute delight it is to have known you. Thank you for being you. While I miss you more than I know how to express, I know in the “blink of an eye” I’ll see you again and we all will be basking in the presence of our Saviour!
Gloria, My thoughts and prays are with you
God Bless

I spent much of today listening to some music from my “youth”….from the sixties, and feeling some nostalgia for those “good old days,” I started wondering what had become of some people I had known and respected back then. In particular, I thought of a teacher I’d had during my junior year in high school, a school in Nagoya, Japan. I put his name into Google, and was dismayed to find him here on the Veterans Funeral Care page. Mr. Gadomski! I’m sorry! I should have looked you up much sooner! Shoulda…coulda…..but didn’t. And so I seem to be too late to tell you what you meant to me during that year, and how upset I was when you left to return to the States. 1967-68 was a tough year, and I spent a lot of time being angry at various things but you were always calm, and thoughtful and steered me in the right direction. For that I thank you. Very very much. I checked my old yearbook and see that Mrs Gadomski was also a teacher at NIS that year, and three of your children were students. In fact, Geraldine was a classmate of my sister Suzanne. I hope you all remember those times with fondness, and assure you that your father was a man whom I …and many of the rest of us……held in very high respect. May he rest in peace.
