Alberta L. “Bobbie” Blackman, 59, of Bushnell, FL funeral services and celebration of life service is 6:00 PM, Friday evening, June 17, 2011 at the Sumterville Assembly of God Church, 2087 East County Road 470, Sumterville, Florida 33585 with Pastor Daniel Richwine, to officiate.
Bobbie was born on December 7, 1951 in Medina, NY to Albert and Ethel Babcock and she passed away on May 31, 2011 at her residence in Bushnell, Florida. She moved to the local area in 2002 from Colorado Springs, Colorado and she was a homemaker and also worked for Fisher Price. Bobbie attended the Sumterville Assembly of God Church.
Preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Shawna, Bobbie is survived by her loving family: her husband, James Blackman of Albion, New York; her daughters; Stephanie Wolfe of Webster, Florida; Leslie Evans of Colorado Springs, Colorado; an adopted daughter, Kim Elster Brown of Medina, New York; two brothers; Edward Babcock of Florida and Gene Olsen of Tucson, Arizona; four sisters: Faith Kugler of Bushnell, Florida; Jackie Fields of Bushnell, Florida; Lillian Hyatt and Tina Heinz, both of Colorado Springs, Colorado; a step-brother, Rancie Hatch, a step-sister, Carol Genet, both of Gasport, New York and five grandchildren: Kevin, Tyler, Christina, Natavidad and Angel.

Bobbi my younger sister who always added spice to your life. I just miss her so much, yet know she is in heaven just enjoying being without pain or sorrow…enjoying our Mom and family who have recently gone to heaven. The comforting fact is one day i shall meet her in heaven and what a day that shall be…Any of you who know her know of the precious heart she had and the love that filled her.
