Alfred Allen Williams, 51, of Clearwater, Florida passed away on Monday, February 14, 2011 in the presence of his brother and sister at Bay Pines Veterans Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. Cremation rites have been accorded. Burial proceedings will be Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 2:15pm at Bay Pines National Cemetery.
Alfred is survived by his son, Derrick Thomas, and his daughter, Jennie Ruiz, both of Ocala, FL; his partner, Elizabeth, of St. Petersburg, FL; his sister, Shirley Ann Parks of Pinellas Park, FL; his brother and caregivers, Charley Williams and Holly Wey of Clearwater, FL; his half-sister, Sharon Moore of Largo, FL; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Alfred served in the United States Army post Vietnam, and upon discharge, was a material facilities specialist for various warehouses in Pinellas County.
