Alvin C. Baker passed away peacefully at the age of 73 in Cuyahoga Falls, OH with his family at his side after a battle with cancer. Alvin was retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. where he was an employee for 32 years. He was a very talented artist and was a member of the Akron Society of Artists and Whiskey Painters of America. His work is still proudly displayed in and around the Akron area. Alvin also proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War.
He is survived by his two children; son Anthony Mary of Staten Island, New York, daughter Deena McKee of Akron, Ohio, granddaughters Vanessa, Veronica, Virginia, and Erin, brother Frank Belty Ginny of New Salisbury, Indiana, sister Donna Barlow Larry of Uniontown, Ohio, and many nieces and nephews.
Alvin was a loving father, grandfather, and brother, a great friend, and a very talented man. He will be missed by all.
