Sirianni, Anthony R. (Rudy), 86, of Clearwater, passed away July 4, 2009 at Mease Countryside Hospital, Safety Harbor.
Born in Carbondale, PA, he moved here in 1998. He retired from the Paterson, NJ Fire Department in 1979. He was a US Army veteran of WWII and was awarded a Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster and 4 Bronze Battle Stars. He was a member of Countryside Baptist Church, Safety Harbor.
Rudy was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary, and brother, Peter. He is survived by his loving wife of nine years, Betty; step son, Mike Almon, Logansport, IN; two step daughters, Charlotte Greenlee, Clearwater and Lisa Dame Herbst, Tarpon Springs; two brothers, Frank, Tarpon Springs and Jimmy, Carbondale; sister, Connie Molarino, Michigan; 6 step grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all his family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Sorry to hear of the loss of Rudy. He will be missed at the Tuesday lunches.We will remember him in our prayers.
