Archie J. Rajski, 86, of Lakeland, FL died under the care of the Hospice of the Good Sheppard, at his residence on December 20, 2009 from cancer.
A native of South Bend, IN and a local resident since 2005, when he moved here from Kissimmee, FL. Archie was a General Contractor and owned his own business-Rajski Builders in South Bend, IN. He attended the Good Sheppard Methodist Church in Lakeland, FL and was a United States Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post 357 in South Bend, IN. During his military service, he was a Military Policeman. Archie military awards are a World War II Victory Medal and a American Theater Ribbon.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Rajski of Lakeland, FL; a son, Dennis Rajski of South Bend, IN; a daughter, Kathy Heyse and her husband, George of Mathews, NC; a brother, Chester Rajski and his wife, Lorain of South Bend, IN; two sisters, Barbara Soleto and Delores Stephens, both of South Bend, IN; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
There is a service planned at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Street, Bushnell, FL 33513 at a later date, when a family member recovers from surgery.
