Armando Ortiz was born August 10, 1940 and went to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on July 6, 2014.
Armando leaves behind his wife of 55 years, all 7 of his children, 5 brothers, 6 sisters, 29 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren.
He was born to Cecilia Ortiz and Pedro Castillo in Linardes Nuevo León, Mexico. Armando was raised by his mother, Cecilia, and step-father, Benancio Ortiz. He is the oldest of 13 children and preceded in death by his brother, Benancio Ortiz.. Armando came to America in 1950 to San Benito, Texas. In 1959 he married the love of his life, Oralia Ortiz. They had 7 children: Arcadio (Visalia, CA), Armando (Frostproof, FL), Arnaldo (Monroe, MI), Arnulfo (Kincheloe, MI), Cecilia (Frostproof, FL), Arnoldo (St. Pertersburg, FL) & Arturo (Frostproof, FL). His surviving brothers are Jose, Ruben, Rudy, Ramiro, and Robert; and sisters are Lupe, Mary, Rosalinda, Naomi, Rebecca, and Concepcion.
Armando began working at a very young age as a farm worker. His job took him all over the country but he spent most of his career in the state of Florida.

I remember when you all lived on Division Street in Adrian, Michigan but that was back in the early 80’s. Wish I could have seen you before you were called home, but I know you can see all of us and his we’re all grown up now. Luv u Tio!!!
