Arthur G. Kennedy, 87, of St. Petersburg passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2007 at Bay Pines VA Health Care System.
Born on November 17, 1920, he moved here in 1973 from his native Monon, IN. He retired as a Breakman, Switchman and Conductor for Monon and Nickel Plate Railroads. He was protestant and a US Army veteran of WWII.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Melvin E. and sister, Dorothy Sexton. Survivors include his two sons, Ronald Lee of Frankfort, IN and Melvin “Gene” of St. Petersburg, FL; a brother, Harold McBee and sister, Irene Russell, both of Frankfort; 8 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, Nov. 21st at Bay Pines National Cemetery.
