Arthur Joseph Denny Jr., 61, US Navy-Retired-Vietnam War Veteran, of Pinellas Park, FL and Inverness, FL, passed away on December 5, 2011. There will be a funeral mass at 9:30 AM, Monday, December 19, 2011 at St. Jude Catholic Church Chapel, 5815 5th Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL . Full military honors and graveside services are at 2:15 PM, Monday, December 19, 2011 at Bay Pines National Cemetery, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd., Bay Pines, FL with the Korean War Honor Guard, to officiate.
A native of Ogdensburg, NY and a local Inverness, FL and Pinellas Park, FL resident, Arthur retired from the US Navy after serving our nation for over 20 years; a Life Member of VFW Post # 2396 in Ogdensburg, NY and her loved to fish, read, play chess and enjoyed woodworking.
He is survived by his loving family: his son, James Denny and his wife, Christine of Milwaukee, WS; his daughter, Lita Denny of Baltimore, MD; a father, Arthur J. Denny of Mattydale, NY; his mother, Annamarie Hoerner of Pinellas Park, FL and his step-father, William J. Sears of South Daytona, FL; his sister, Yvonne Ashton of South Daytona, FL; two ½ brothers, Thomas and John Denny; 2 aunts, 2 uncles, 2 step-brothers, 3 step-sisters; and his loving companion, Margie Lowe.
