Veterans Funeral Care Arthur Bounds
Art L. Bounds, 49, of Clearwater, FL passed away on Friday night, May 15, 2009 at Bay Pines VA Health Care System.
Born in St. Petersburg, he played football for Clearwater High School. He served in the Navy for three years earning the rank, MSSN. He worked in construction as an experienced carpenter, plumber, electrician and mason. He enjoyed golfing and socializing.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Yvonne, his brother, Dwight, and his sister, Carolyn Yoachom. Survivors include his father, Bud of Clearwater; brother, Tim of Clearwater Beach; step brother, Scott Crouch of Millbrook, AL; aunt, Carolyn Rogers and uncle, Calvin Bounds, both of St. Petersburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at 10 AM, on Wednesday, May 20th at Bay Pines National Cemetery.
I wish I could be there, but all will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Bud, We are so sorry to hear of your loss yet again. May the strength and love of your family help you get through this.

Jackie and I are so thankful for the times we had with Art. We still have an item he made for our garden. I won’t forget the good times; our adventures at Six Flags, cookouts at Yvonne and Dan’s, and his smile and warm handshake.
He really was a gifted tradesman and some of his work went into our last home in Cedar Hill, Tx.
We’re so sorry to learn of his passing and we have you in out thoughts.
