Arthur V. Francis, 65, US Army-Vietnam War Veteran-SP5 of Seminole, Florida, died on March 30, 2013.
Funeral service is 10:45 AM, Friday, April 12, 2013 at Bay Pines National Cemetery, 10000 Bay Pines, Blvd., Bay Pines, Florida 33744 with the Pinellas County Military Honor, to officiate. Please arrive at the cemetery between the hours of 10:15 AM and the posted service time.
During his military career, Art served in the US Army as a SP5 and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal; Vietnam Combat Medal with 1 Overseas Bars; Vietnam Service Medal with 2 Bronze Stars; Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm Unit Citation and was qualified in the M-14 and M-16 Rifle. He served in the country of Vietnam.
After his return to civilian life, he was the owner of Art’s Dart and Billiard Supply Company and started the 1st Dart League in Pinellas County and also had the first Dart Machines in the county. He was a Catholic and was a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his loving family: his companion for over 30 years; Sandra Lambert of Seminole, Florida; children: Freda Francis of Ft. Myers, Florida; Ammie Blair of Ft. Myers, Florida and Renee Senokossoff of Largo, Florida; a brother, Rusty Francis of Labelle, Florida; sisters, Becky Chastin of Ft. Myers, Florida and Judy McClure of Labelle, Florida and two grandchildren.

I miss those days of throwing darts with you and Renee, dart tounaments as well, spending time with you, Sandy and Renee…we had some good times!
