Batiste John Ventimeglia, 82, of Burbank, CA passed away at the Provident St. Joseph Hospital, Burbank, CA on September 1, 2007 of natural causes.
A native of Ferndale, MI and a local resident since 1955, when he moved to Burbank, CA from Ferndale; he was a retired postal clerk for the US Post Office; a member of the Church of the Brother in Glendale, CA; a member of the F & AM Masonic Lodge and a UIS Navy Veteran serving our nation during World War II.
He is survived by his loving family: a wife, Donna of Burbank, CA; a son, Charles Ventimeglia of Burbank, CA; daughters; Caroleen Cleveland of Burbank, CA, Regina Galbawy and her husband, Mark of Kent, WA, Lisa Rene Herbaugh and her husband, Richard of Palmdale, CA; a brother, Frank Ventimeglia and his wife Jill of Burbank, CA; a sister, Grace Yaklin of Oceanside, CA; twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services are 10:00 AM, Friday morning, September 7, 2007 at the Emmanuel Church, Harvard Road, Burbank, CA 91502 with Reverend Rick Durrance, to officiate. Graveside services and full military honors are 2:30 PM, Friday, September 14, 2007 at the Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA 92518.
