Betty, you were a special gal to so many of us at Bay Pines. We will miss you, but remember you! What fun we had when we celebrated your life recently at Fort Desoto Park, along with the other “outings” with fellow veterans at Bay Pines. I’m glad you reminded Stuart of the potatoe salad! And we’ll always remember the “Gotcha” shirt you wore that day!
You taught us how to “fight” and yet how to “accept” the realities of life and death . . . thank you!
The Peace and Presence of Christ be with you always,
Dan Hummer

I can’t begin to count all the times we have enjoyed together, over the almost 20 years I took care of you. You have been a JOY
and a PLEASURE. Now that I have
said my peace, go show those people
in Heaven just what you are made
of. I will love you always. Pam
As one of the VA Police Officers at Bay Pines, I get to meet special people every day. Miss Betty was one of those people. I only knew her a short time, but we became friends right away. She had such a sweet disposition, and I consider it an honor to have become her friend. To the family, my most heartfelt condolences go out to you in this trying time. Godspeed to you my friend, Betty!!! I will always remember you.
