Betty Jean Brown, 74, of Largo, FL died Monday, January 28, 2013 at home.
Born in Jellico, TN and raised in Kentucky, Betty moved here from Bordentown, NJ in 1985. She was a founder of Valley Baptist Church in Middletown, PA and very active in the Southern Baptist Church. She has been a long time member of First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks, Largo.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Frank; two sons, Neil Brown of Barnegat, NJ and Nate Brown of Wesley Chapel, FL; daughter, Selena Whitley of Warner Robins, GA; stepson, Tommy Brown of Valrico, FL; stepdaughter, Charlene Looney of Auburndale, FL; three brothers, John Partin of PA, Lee Partin of MD, and Clyde Partin of OH; ten grandchildren and two great grandsons.
Visitation will be held from 9-10 AM, followed by services at 10:00 AM on Saturday, Feb. 2nd at First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks with Rev. Jim Black.
