Bonnie H. Moreland, 66, of New Port Richey, FL, died Friday, February 12, 2010 at Mease Dunedin Hospital.
Bonnie was born in New Martinsville, West Virginia on August 12, 1943 where she resided until 1959 when she moved with her family to Safety Harbor, FL. In 1964, she graduated from Gordon Keller School of Nursing and Joined the Army Nurses Corps. She earned the rank of Captain as a veteran of the Vietnam War. After the Army she
ran her own business and worked at Wal-Mart for over ten years until her retirement this year.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Jerry Moreland; daughters, Wendy Chapman of Indianapolis, twin daughters, Sherry Moreland and Mary Vaughn both of New Port Richey; and two granddaughters, Lauren Chapman and Elizabeth Vaughn.
Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday February 22, 2010 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. Please sign the registry below.
