Bonnie E. Prescott, 65, of Largo, FL died on January 19, 2010 at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater, FL from natural causes. Her funeral will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the Countryside Cathedral Church of God, 2701 Rigsby Lane, Safety Harbor, FL 34695 with Pastor John Armstrong to officiate. The family will welcome friends at the church from 9:00 AM until service time. Following the services, she will be laid to rest at the Largo City Cemetery, Largo, FL.
A lifelong Clearwater native, Bonnie was a long-time employee of Department of Education-Division of Blind Services, after which she married Paul Prescott and they became the proprietors of Interstate Snax, Inc. She attended Countryside Cathedral Church of God and was a member of the National Federation of the Blind and the Florida Division of Blind Merchants. She is survived by her husband, Paul Prescott of Largo, FL; a son, Ken Walker and his fiancée, Robin Montanye of New Port Richey, FL; a daughter, Cindy Walker-Barnhill and her fiancé, Eric Aarnink of St. Petersburg, FL; a step-daughter Andrea Prescott and Nikki of Painesville, OH; four brothers, James Henderson and his wife, Doris of Philadelphia, PA; Walter Henderson and his wife, Martha of Live Oak, FL; John Henderson and his wife, Patricia of Enterprise, AL and Donnie Henderson and his wife, Clarice of Plant City, FL; a sister, Marguerite Williams and her husband, Grover B. of Jennings, FL; three grandchildren, Amber Morrison and her husband Justin; Alexus Barnhill and Garret Aarnink; two great grandchildren; Melonie Morrison and Aiden Morrison; numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Great Nieces, Great Nephews and Step-Grandchildren.
