May Brian Davis Torrey RIP, “…Everything he has made pretty in its time. Even time indefinite he has put in their heart… I have come to know that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and to do good during one’s life; and also that every man should eat and indeed drink and see good for all his hard work. It is the gift of God.” Ecclesiastes 3:10-13

Sorry to hear of Brians passing. I was with Brian at LHS 71 and played football with him. He played football with a lot of heart and had a big heart off the field also. He was a quiet humble person and a good friend. We had some good times in our high school days wish I lived closer so I could have been with him in our later years. He was just that kind of guy. My prayer go to his family and friends.
I did not know Brain on a personal note but I did meet Brian on several occasions through family functions. My wife Ruth youngest son Patrick is married to Christina Galle Ryan. The few times I met Brian he was always friendly and engaging. I was stunned to hear the news and I immediately said a prayer for Brain. So sorry for his family and friend Linda.
God Bless
Haven’t seen Brian in many years but that pictures is perfect!! I was very shy and insecure then and he was a very gentle soul and sweet guy that I always felt comfortable with. I’m sure all he knew felt the same way. I have very fond memories of the person he was. Sure wish I could see him again.
Condolences to the entire Torrey family during this difficult time. Seems like only yesterday we were teasing and kidding each other at the airport. Simply put, Brian was a class act and will be sorely missed. R.I.P. GOOSE.

I am so sorry to hear about Brian. He was one of the most nicest & most sincere people I have known. Rest in Peace.
To Uncle Brian Torrey,
For some reason today I found this while searching for my childrens great-grandfather (Torrey).
Reading all of these beautiful remembrances of Brian, reminded me today of my Uncle Brians sweetest, humble and kind personality that I remember most. One of a kind.
He may not have raised children. But he called on me and cared for me like his own. I cherish our memories. The best way I can pay respect to my Uncle Brian;
The most that is left after we are gone is the impression we leave on the people we met. Brian did that with everyone. He was effortlessness in the way he was able to leave an incredible optimistic mark on everyone he would meet. We hold an everlasting memory, forever etched in each of our own souls, that were fortunate to have known Brian.
With the most sincere love and memory.
Love,
Ginny Torrey Berchiatti
