Bruce M. Martindale, 87, of Hudson, FL passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at home under the care of HPH Hospice.
Bruce moved here from his native Doans, IN in 1966 where he retired as a mechanical engineer for the University of Indianapolis Medical Center. He was an Army veteran of WWII. He was a member of Beacon Community Church. Bruce enjoyed boating, fishing, building race cars and motorsports.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years Ellen J.; two sons, Daniel of Hudson and Brian of New Port Richey; two sisters, Pat Wilson and Martha Jean Solo, both of New Port Richey; and grandson, Christopher Vergnaud.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 12, 2014 at Beacon Community Church, 9025 Star Trail, New Port Richeywith Rev. Pat Jones. Military Honors will be presented by the VFW Spring Hill Post #10209 at 12:30 PM at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell.
