Jim Black officiating. Interment on premises. Those wishing to make a contribution in Burke's memory may make contributions to the S.P.C.A.
My love and prayers to you Burkes family and to Tina who loved him so much. Burke was wonderful Fiend to my son Brad. They have shared wonderful times together especially on those motorcycles. Losing Burke will leave a void in all our lives and I know for Brad it will be one that no one else can replace. God be with each of you and give you strength.
With prayers and love, Jenny Cox
I only met Burke a few weeks ago through a group of his friends, and immediately I knew that this man lived life to it’s fullest. He had a kind soul and was a complete joy to be around. I learned right away about his love for his dogs! Through Robbie I met Burke, and through Burke, I met Melissa – all people connected to him – dear friends that are in great pain right now with their loss. I share in your sorrow and would like for his family and friends to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this time. Definitely a man gone long before his time! God Bless! *RIP Burke*
Burke was the best neighbor anyone could ask for; we are thankful to have lived next to him for the past 3.5 years. If it wasn’t for him, we may have never found our dog, Isys, that got out one day while we were at work. Despite her breed, he was kind enough to catch and tie her up for us until we arrived home. Thank you so much for that!
Burke’s love for Tina & her family, his family, dogs, and life was apparent every time we saw him. He was always so friendly, easy going, and open to a good conversation anytime we passed by each other….sometimes we would converse for 10 to 20 minutes with the groceries bags still in his hands and all. To us, it’s as if he truly “lived in each moment”, regardless of anything else.
Our neighborhood won’t be the same without Burke; he will be missed. Our hearts go out to Tina and his family. We pray that you find peace & comfort in God during this trying time. God Bless.
To Burke’s Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you always. You will forever be in our hearts. As Barron and Greg would say “Us orangewood boys will always stick together!”
With love, Greg and Stacey
These last few months we have had to priviledge spend more time with Burke and it is something we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives. We recently took a trip to get our dogs together. Burke got his Chief and we got our Buddy. It was a simple gesture of friendship at the time one we all were so excited and happy for. each day as we look into little Buddy’s face for the rest of our days we’ll remember this simple gift which was one of love. a real friend that we can honestly say that we love so dearly and will be missed terribly. God must have needed an angel because the day you left was when he called you home…
My husband worked with Burke @ Verizon. He will be missed very much by all of his co-workers. I donate money to the SPCA & love animals & have rescued quite a few. Our thoughts and prayers are with his familyfriends at this difficult time. Sincerely, Doug & Trish Youngblood

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen Burke, we went to school together, then met again around 2002 when he installed my cable. Funny guy!! You always brought a smile to my face. You will be missed!
