Catherine Howard Wyatt, 87, of Safety Harbor, FL, passed into a new life on Monday, June 23, 2014 in Clearwater, FL.
Born on September 1, 1926 in Naylor, GA, she was the daughter of the late Bruce Howard and Annie Mae Carter-Pasco. Her early years were in Naylor until she moved to Clearwater and later, Safety Harbor. Catherine married the late Percel Wyatt, who served as a United States Army combat veteran of WWII.
She was employed by CSX Railroad Company, but later transitioned to a domestic homemaker. She loved to cook, crochet, and work in her garden. Catherine was a very humble person who loved to sing spiritual and gospel songs. Her favorite quote was “I Love All of Ya’ll”.
She leaves to cherish her wonderful memories her two sons: Cleven “Cecil” Wyatt of Safety Harbor, and George M. “Roy” Wyatt of Clearwater; four daughters: Henrietta Wyatt-Robinson of Immokalee, FL, Victoria Wyatt-Willis of Clearwater, Agnes G. Wyatt-Thomas of Tallahassee, FL, and Irene E. Wyatt-Penny of Clearwater; brother: Willie C. Pasco of Clearwater; three sisters: Jeanette Howard-Reed, Ivory O. Pasco-Herring, and Deloris Pasco-Moody; 17 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A gathering of friends and family will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at New Destiny Worship Center, 2110 No. Hercules Avenue, Clearwater 33763. Services will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at 10:45 AM on Monday, July 7, at Bay Pines National Cemetery, 10000 Bay Pines Boulevard, Bay Pines, FL 33744.
Catherine will be sincerely missed by her family and all those who loved her.
