Cecil "Lucky" Warren, 81 passed away September 22, 2007. He was born in Long Beach, California. He served our nation in World War II serving 3 years in Japan and the Philippians as an Army Paratrooper. He spent the last 50 years as a gardener and at the age of 77, was the oldest gardener in Long Beach. His faith in the Lord Jesus Christ has inspired family and friends alike for decades. He will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Betty, sons Roger and Danny, daughter Dee, 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Memorial services were held at First Presbyterian Church, Westminster, CA.

Lucky and I argued about flowers, but, we respected each other. He was truthful and honest. Neither he nor his family deserved the brutal attack that led to his death. He was a good man, with a kind heart. I hope we see justice done.
