SFC Charles B. Sieber, USA Ret., 56, of Largo, FL died March 20, 2013 at Bay Pines VA Health Care System.
Born in St. Petersburg, he attended Boca Ciega High School. He served in the US Army 18 years, specializing in Helicopter Maintenance & Repair. He owned and operated Bay Wind Lawn Service in Pinellas County for 15 years after his discharge in 1992. He was an avid Tampa Bay Buccaneer football and Rays baseball fan. He especially loved his family.
Survivors include his son, MSgt Charles B. Sieber, Jr., USMC of Emerald Isle, NC; two daughters, Carla L. Sieber of Clearwater, FL and Jessica A. Sieber of Sarasota, FL; two sisters, Debbie Stapleton of Fernandina Beach, FL and Penny Thomas of Dade City, FL; stepbrother, Brian Sieber of Charlotte, NC; and 7 grandchildren.
Graveside services with full military honors will be presented at 3:00 PM on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Bay Pines National Cemetery, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd., Bay Pines, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to Bay Pines VAHCS, PO Box 5005, Sect. 135, Bay Pines, FL 33744, write “Hospice” in the memo.

I realize the loss, and pain, of that loss you are experiencing now, but Charlie is in a much better place. He is finally at peace in God’s care. i blieeve he has been trying to find peace for many years and he now has it.
