Charles E. Richmond, 77, of Tampa, FL funeral is 1:00 PM, Monday, February 22, 2010 at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, Fl 33513 with Captain Arthur Nave and the Marion County Military Honor Guard, to officiate.
A native of Fennimore, WS and a local resident since 1974, when he moved here from Hialeah, FL; he was a retired apartment manager; a member of the DAV; a Korean War Veteran and served our nation in the US Army assigned to the” 1st Air Calvary Division-5th Calvary Regiment” and had the rank of CPL. He later served in the Wisconsin Army National Guard.
Charles is survived by his loving family; a wife, Carol of Tampa, FL; two sons, Ryan Richmond of Tampa, FL and Charles M. Richmond and his wife, Ann of Houston, TX; five daughters; Vickie, Sherry Lynn and Debra Richmond of Houston, TX, Michele Collins and her husband, Rick of Nashville, TN, Trisha Richmond of Lake Geneva, WS, two brothers, Billy Richmond of San Angelo, TX and John Richmond of Mission, TX; two sisters, Lenice Pafford and Carol Steele of Mauston, WS and seven grandchildren.

aunt carol so very sorry to hear about uncle charlie i hope at least now he is at peace.i lost my husband in 1999 the sme way so i know what it is like to watch someone you love suffer so and knowing there isnt anything you can do but sit there and watch them suffer hopefully his passing now will also help you find some comfort as well.it seems like forever that we paid our visit to you guys.love and condolences to you all. johns daughter
