Charles E. Moran, Sr. passed away on September 17, 2007 at his home and under the loving care of his family and The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast. Charles celebrated his 80th birthday on July 6, 2007 and relocated from Long Island to Pinellas Park in 1996. Charles is survived by his wife, Marjorie, whom he was a beloved husband for 55 years. He was a loving father to his five children, Charles, Jr., Timothy, John, Elizabeth and Marylinda; and a loving grandfather to his seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by his brother, John, and sister Evelyn, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a loyal American who served in the US Navy in World War II, and prided himself as being an honest man.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on September 27, 2007 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in St. Petersburg, and donations are asked to be made to The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33760.
