Charles Henry Godwin, 62, of Tampa, FL passed away at the Brandon Regional Medical Center, Brandon, FL on December 4, 2007 of natural causes. A lifelong Tampa Bay Area Resident that was born in Lakeland, FL; he was in business for himself as a scrap medal dealer; a Baptist and a US Army veteran that served during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his care giver and personal representative for 20 years, Barbara Faircloth of Tampa, FL; sons: John Wayne Goodwin Jr. of Lakeland, FL; Ricky and Vincent Hamilton, both of Tampa, FL; daughters: Stacey Goodwin, Michele Goodwin, Terri Hill, Bobbie Jo Navaro and Tina Hamilton, all of Tampa, FL; a brother, Alton Goodwin Jr. of Lakeland, FL; sisters; Julie, Micki of Tampa, FL; his mother, Pauline Goodwin of Zephyrhills, FL; Grandchildren: Destin Goodwin, Alisha McQueen; Michele Brown, Randy Geschender; Briana Hurst; Thomas Gore; Tiffany Navaro; Chase, Toni and Bryan Boggs; Tyler, Darmion, Shailynn and Logan Goodwin and great-grandchildren: Jordan, Cameron, Kayla, Adriana, Aiden, Vincent, Kevin and Malinda. Graveside services are 12:30 PM, Thursday afternoon, December 13, 2007 at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 S/W 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513 with Marion County Military Honor Guard, officiating.
