You touched so many lives with your genuine compassion and love for people and strong faith. Thank you for teaching me why a sunset is so beautiful. Thank you for being our friend. Kevin and I love and miss you…
Chris will always be remembered in our hearts. Thank you for your friendship and the legacy you’ve left in our lives. I will miss you.
I will truly miss my friend but his memory will always be with me.It was an honor to know a man of such character, faith and love. Love you Chris
Chris was a fine young man that loved the Lord Jesus and life. He gave of himself to others every where he went and impacted their life for the Lord. Daniel 12:3 Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. This was Chris, I will miss him but look forward to seeing him again in heaven.
Love you Chris,
Marsha
Even though I have only known you for such a short time I have known your mom for a very long time. I know what a caring person she is and how important the Lord is in your family’s life. And because of this I could see that you were blessed with these same qualities and that you have touched so many people. I will always look at the sunset and think of you!
Chris, What a privilege getting to know such a great man. You were always so kind and friendly even when you were so sick. I will always think of you when I see a sunset. Thanks for sharing your life. Say hello to my Mom in heaven. Love in Christ, LaDon
Chris will be missed very much. He was a great man and a breath of fresh air to be around. Chris was a wonderful christian who touch everyone he came in contact with by sharing his love and faith with them. He will truely be missed by all. We love you chris!
Chris made an everlasting impression on the youth leaders and the students of the youth ministry. There was never a doubt he truly cared about us. We will miss him.
When the ties of friendship and camaraderie are abruptly severed, faith and strength lighten the load of our pain. Grief can be the greatest of teachers, allowing us to have more compassion for our fellow man. Death rekindles the very essence and importance of life sometimes left behind in our youth.
I was lucky to have had Chris touch me and be part of my life. His laughter and smile remain now as I bow my head in sorrow. Chris will remain with me for many years to come in my thoughts, words and prayers.
I am sure the family would appreciate knowing how much everyone missed their loved one. Take a moment today to reflect on what is important in life. To say we were wronged by so-and-so or this person has more than I do is trivial in loss’s pain. While I cannot quickly overcome the grief I feel, perhaps I can learn to cherish life a little more every day.
You will truly be missed by all our staff. God bless you and your family. Your with the angels now.Our prayers are with the Fought family
I count it a great privilege to have Chris as my friend. From our days at Cedarville, we were always close. We spent a lot of time on the computer playing together. I will miss those times. I will miss his laugh and his sense of humor. However, I know I will see him again. He is with the Lord and I can’t wait to see him one day. Love you, Chris! To the Fought family, you are in our prayers as you go through this difficult time. We love you!
Jim, Jeanne, Harrison, and Grace Cramer!
We send our love and deepest sympathy and will continue to pray for strength, comfort and understanding for your loss.
We know that Chris will be missed, but know he is in God’s loving care.
We are praying for the Fought family in this time of loss. We are a part of the DK family.
I worked with Chris when he worked at SystranCurtiss Wright in Dayton, Ohio. He was a wonderful person and I know he will be missed. My prayers are with you all.
I didn’t have the opportunity to know Chris a great length of time and to develop a deep relationship. But that didn’t really matter – his kind and gentle ways that made him approachable and easy to talk with had me feeling like we were long-time friends after a couple lengthy discussions of various video games. He was passionate in his work and often went out of his way to help me and others. I sensed in Chris a person who would give you the shirt from his back and then ask “how else can I help, what else do you need?” I will miss Chris deeply. My thoughts, prayers and condolences go out to Chris’ family. May he forever live in our hearts and thoughts!
It was amazing to watch Chris grow as a person and as a Christian. When I first met him, he was shy but soon became one who was always willing to share his faith in Christ with others. He took charge of his life, exercising and losing weight while honing his skills in software engineering. He saved his money and gave away most of his things so he could move to warm and sunny Florida without having a job already lined up. I’ll always remember and admire Chris for his determination to work for what he wanted within the will of his Lord and Master Jesus Christ.
Kevin and I miss you Chris! The anniversary of your death this past Friday was a sad day for me. I think about you all the time and especially when I watch the sun set. I talk to your mom a lot and I love her so much! Wish you were here to be a part of the ministry – You were suppose to be… Give Jesus a high five for me!
Dear Chris,
It has been two years I bet you are loving heaven! I miss you. I still talk to your mom a lot. We love you and know that we will see a cure for brain cancer one day..
Love,
Mindy
I had the pleasure and good fortune to be Chris’ supervisor for 3 years. He always came to work with a smile and would go out of his way to say hello. His customers loved him. He will be greatly missed.
I went to High School with Chris, and we were good friends. I was looking around on the internet to see what happened to some of my old friends. I was really sad to see this. He was so young. Chris was always a patient and gentle spirit.
