Christopher Dominic "Christy" DeMarco, 85, of Tampa, Florida, died Monday, December 29, 2008 at Melech Hospice House in Temple Terrace, Florida. He was born in New York City on January 30, 1923 and enlisted in the Army during Worla War II.
Christy was employed as a driver for a commercial car carrier until his retirement to Florida.
He is survived by his wife of 66 yeras, Ofelia; three sons: Chris, Danny and Jerry; his sister, Frances; daughter-in laws, Mary and JoAnn; two sister-in-laws; one brother-in-law; four grandchildren: Michele, Denise, Christopher, and Christa; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins who he loved very much.
Christy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend; he will be greatly missed.
