Miss Clara was always a friendly face to see on every Sunday morning at First Baptist Church, Lakeview. She was a faithful and dedicated lady willing to work and serve the Lord as best as she could. I know that she loved her church family very much and it showed. I was just remembering her this past weekend when I was reading a little golden book she had given my daughter to my grand daughter. She had written her name in the front of the book. It is funny how sometimes the little things that we do are really the big things in the grand scheme of things. I am sorry for your loss, but I know that our loss was heavens’ gain. God bless you and your family.
Clara has been a special lady and shared a part of our lives and will always be in our hearts. I have known her since I was a young girl and the friendship has carried over into the lives of my husband and children. She had a gentle and quiet spirit, but always showed the love of Jesus to all those she met. She will always be remembered as someone special. Heaven has gained another saint and she will be missed here on earth. Prayers are with the family.
