“Kay” was my ist cousin. When I was about 8 yrs. old he worked on our farm in Arcadia for the summer. He was so very handsome and I thought he was better than a movie star. I followed him everywhere, probably to his dismay. One time he was feeding the hogs and I was watching him through a crack in the fence, when he was done he threw the bucket over the fence and hit me in the head. He didn’t know I was there. It split my head open and I was crying. He leaped the fence in one leap and gathered me up bloody and all and ran for the house with me. He felt so bad. I’m so glad he has had a wonderful life with his beloved Pat and family.May God be with him until we meet again.
Uncle Kay,
I am where I am today still serving in the military because of somrthing you told me when I visited in 1998.
I hope my childern always remain as close to me as yours have once I retire.

Stone is a big part of my childhood memories. He poured his love out to his children and all of their friends throughout our high school years. I will never forget all of the boat rides down the St. Johns River every Sunday. And how he was “always” right, no matter what!!
He was a loving soul who raised wonderful children and loved his wife and family the way all men should.
He will be missed on this earth, but he will be waiting for all of those who love him – we too shall meet again one day in the tower in the sky.
My condolences to all. Please know that if I were closer, I would be there. I extend my love and hugs to all who know me.
Our deepest sympathy and condolence goes out to the entire family during this time of grieving. Our prayers are with you and you are in our thoughts.
I have the fondest memories of Stone, he was always very kind to me. My sincere condolences to the entire family.
May blessings be with you and your family. I send my love and my prayers for all.

My Condolences to the family. I always respected Uncle Kay, and have fond memories I will always remember.
Stoney was probably the most honest, efficient man I ever had the honor of working with. We both went through the GM Training Class for mechanics in St. Louis, Mo. as partners in the class before retiring from the USAF. A good man!! My most heartfelt condolences to his wife Pat and the three wonderful kids.
Dad has been a most precious gift that God Almighty gave us. At this time in our lives, we give thanks to our everlasting Father for the life of such a wonderful man whom He has decided to call home. Dad was blessed with special qualities such as love and the courage to declare the truth and admire whatever was good and beautiful. He was a hard worker, loved his family, and embraced a heartfelt love of his country and service to mankind, Yes, indeed a mighty tree has fallen. A cyclone has permanently ripped off the roofs of our lives on earth and tears cannot dry from our eyes. A terrible blow has left our hearts to ache painfully. Dad was the pivot around whom our lives rotated. His extraordinary high sense of responsibility in organizational skills kept us alert and knowledgeable. Oh, our just advocate is gone. Our friend and confident has left us. Our comforter is no more. Now the labourers task is over. Now the battle day has passed. Now upon the farther shore – lands the voyager at last. Father, in thy gracious keeping – lead me now thy servant sleeping. God Bless you Dad. We love you.
A few years ago – 76 to be exact – heaven and earth erupted into a major celebration with the news of this man’s adventure onto this planet called Earth. He lived and experienced a lifetime of lessons in his 76 years on earth and Stoney will be deeply missed. Men like him don’t come along all that often…in fact there’s never been a single one like him.
Stone is an angel among us now. He is in a place whose eyes see what no other will see, whose ears hear what no others will hear, and whose perspective and feelings will never ever be duplicated. Without him now, the Universe is sadly less than what it was.
Stone was the kind of person who’s hard to forget. A one-in-a-million to the people he met. His friends were as varied as the places he went.
And they want to tell you in case you don’t know: That you made a big difference in the lives that you touched, by taking so little and giving so much.
Friends and angels from every corner of the Universe, including buddies you didn’t know you had, will be missing you. Watch over us now – and God Bless You.
