Constance C. "Connie" Olsen, 75, of Largo, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2008 at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida with her family by her side. She was born in Poughkeepsie, New York on November 28, 1932 to the late Roy and Anna Carroll Clark, and graduated from Washington Irving High School in Tarrytown, New York, the Eastern School of New York, and the University of Georgia. Connie moved to Florida in 1970, having relocated from Tarrytown, and worked in the medical field and enjoyed art, reading, and writing. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and enjoyed working at the infirmary at the Hackley School in Tarrytown, serving as a Girl Scout Leader and a Braille instructor, and was passionate as a bereavement counselor for hospice. Connie is survived by her loving son, Dane Olsen, and his wife Sherri and their two sons, Hunter and Blake, all of Seminole, Florida; also her loving daughter, Laurie Kish, and her husband Bob, and their children Kristi and Adam, all of Blue Ridge, Georgia. She also leaves many, many dear friends and extended family, and is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Richard Clark, of New York. Connie will be truly missed by all that knew her.
