Danny always said that he made friends easily because he was used to moving around. The truth is that everyone that met Danny O’Shea loved him. Danny had such a magnetism that drew everyone to him. Men and women alike loved Danny. Danny graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.S. in Political Science. He also had a degree from FIT in Oceanography. Danny loved the water.  He was a Master Diver and in fact taught diving at FIT Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, FL.  Some of his happiest days were days in the water.  He was such a natural. Danny and Marilyn were married 33 years and theirs was a true love story. They were perfectly suited to each other. As best friends, partners, and soul mates, they shared a beautiful family and so many, many precious times and memories. Danny had such a unique personality and sense of humor. With his legendary story telling ability, Danny always kept everyone entertained. Danny started out his career in sales for Gillette. From there he was in the Oil and Gas field and moved his family to Houston, Texas where they lived for 9 years. He moved back to Florida and started a construction company. He did commercial construction for 10 years. Dan was a true entreprenuer and went on to start an online pharmaceutical company which was sold last year. Dan then invested in commercial real estate and investment property in Costa Rica.  Dan had other loves besides his family.  Danny loved golfing, his Corvette, scuba diving, fishing, cars, planes and traveling. Dan and Marilyn were fortunate enough to visit Ireland, England, Scotland, Germany, Japan, Costa Rica, Italy, Spain, Croatia, France, Mexico, the Bahamas and Canada. And, like all good Irishmen, he liked his nip. Dan loved his family passionately. He also loved his friends passionately. He loved living life to the fullest. He was always ready for the next party. Danny had a favorite Irish saying, “there is the right way, and there is the Irish way.” Danny was a true animal lover. Animals, children and particularly woman loved him. Danny O’Shea was a gentleman’s gentleman and a fine, kind, loving and generous man. Danny has so many people that loved him and will miss him so desperately.
