David Ernest Boone, 80, of Riverview, FL died at his residence on May 18, 2010 from natural causes and under the care of the Hospice of Sun City Center. David’s funeral is 2:30 PM, Friday, May 21, 2010 at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513 with the Marion County Military Honor Guard, to officiate.
A native of Nashville, TN and a local resident since 2009, when he moved to Riverview from Gibson ton, FL; he was a retired Supervisor of Maintenance for apartment complexes. A US Army Veteran of the Korean War, he was awarded a Good Conduct Medal, a United Nations Service Medal and a Korean War Service Medal. David belonged to the DAV and he was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his loving family: a wife, Sarah Boone of Riverview, FL; two sons: George Boone and David A. Boone, both of Riverview, FL; a daughter, Connie Bianchi and her husband, Steve of Brandon, FL; a sister, Ruby King of Nashville, TN and three grandchildren: Amanda Boone, David A. Boone Jr. and Christopher Bianchi.
