Della Barbara Perdue, 78, of Tampa, FL passed away on October 22, 2010.
The daughter of Arthur and Lucy, Della was born in Bradford, England in 1932 and moved here from Yorkshire. In 1956, she caught the eye of her future husband Norman E. Perdue. They were married in 1957 and remained together until his death in August 2010. They were devoted companions who were blessed to love and care for each other for 53 years. She retired as a civil servant from MacDill Air Force Base after more than 30 years of service.
She leaves behind her daughter, Donella Perdue of Jacksonville Beach, FL.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on November 5, 2010 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell where she will be returned to her husband's side forever.
Della, I am so sorry that I wasn’t able to see you before your death. You and Norman will forever be in my heart.
