Denis Edward Boyle, 63, of Davenport, FL, died on Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at the James Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa, FL. He was born in Helensburgh, Scotland and moved to Florida in 2007 from Brooklyn, NY.
He served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a Security Director for a hospital in New York for over 30 years. He was an avid Mets fan and deeply loved his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Denis and Jean Boyle. He is survived by his wife, Susan of Davenport; son, Denis Joseph Boyle of Staten Island, NY; daughter, Elaine Edell of Brooklyn, NY; brother, William Boyle of New Jersey; sisters, Cathy and Margaret of California; grandchild, Anaijah A. Boyle; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Tuesday, July 13 at St Ann Catholic Church in Haines City. A visitation will be held at 10:00AM and a Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00AM. He will be interred at Florida National Cemetery with military honors.
