Charles “Dick” Vance, 81, of Clearwater, died September 29th 2003 at his home under the care of the Hospice of the Suncoast.
Born in Carthage, IL, he came here in 1966 from Cleveland, Ohio. He was a special agent with the FBI. He served his country as a Naval Officer during WWll in the Pacific Theatre. He was a member of Clearwater 1st Assembly of God, Past President of the Clearwater Evening Sertoma Club, he was the “Sertoman of the Year” in 1983, and he was the Past Chairman of the Suncoast Chapter of the Retired FBI Agents Association from 1983 to 1985.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Nancy Lee Vance, Clearwater, 3 daughters, Patricia Brediger, Cleveland, Ohio, Lorie Vance, Dunedin, Pamela Vance, Clearwater & 2 grandsons.
