Donald L. “Don” Ray, 71, of Brandon, FL funeral services are 11:30 AM, Thursday-August 21, 2008 at the 1st Free Will Baptist Church, 11605 US 92East, Seffner, FL 33584. The family will receive friends at the church fro 9:30 AM until service time. Graveside services are 2:30 PM, Thursday afternoon, August 21, 2008 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. Don passed away on August 15, 2008 at the Melech Hospice House, Temple Terrace, FL from natural causes. A native of Omega, OH and a local resident since 1987, when he move here from Columbus, OH; he was a electrician for Roehrenbeck Electric Co. He also worked for 10 years at the Bob Evans Restaurant in Brandon, FL. Don loved to go fishing and bowling. A member of 1st Free Will Baptist Church in Seffner, FL and a United States Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Ester Ray of Brandon, FL; two sons: Michael Ray of Cawldwell, ID and Robert “Bob” Morgan and his wife, Elizabeth of Tampa, FL; five daughters: Rebecca Watters and her husband, C.W. of Columbus, OH; Debra Dimario and her husband, James and Donna Ray, of Nampa, ID; Tina Peoples and her husband, Johnny of Valrico, FL and Tonya Morgan and her life companion Dodie High of Plant City, FL; his mother, Alma Ray of Wellston, OH; two brothers, Richard Ray and his wife, Janet of Georgetown, KY and James Ray and his wife, Pauline of Coalton, OH; three sisters: Patricia Smith and her husband, John of Londondairy, OH; Darlene Parks and her husband, Jack and Brenda Corvin, of Wellston, OH;a niece, Kimberly Moore of Brandon, FL; seventeen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
