God rest Dandy Don! I have such fun and heartwarming memories of how Don was a guardian angel for me on Davis Islands. I had my hands full with two young children and Don would ALWAYS stop and lend me a hand or drop off eggs from his chickens or plants from his nursery to brighten my day. And he even enlisted Brent to help me out and lift my spirits with his cheerfulness and generosity. I am so so lucky to have known Don and thankful for the many blessings he sent my way. I look forward to celebrating his life and homecoming with his loved ones. Isaiah 40:31 “but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
I will miss him.

May your memories of Dandy Don bring peace and comfort. He was a very nice person. His generous landscaping gift to our Thonotosassa park will live on as a living memorial . He will be remembered as a friend to our neighborhood.
