Donald Wade Dignan was born on September 19th, 1925 in San Carlos, Arizona. He passed away April 22. 2008 at the Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center in Brooksville, Florida. Don served in the Coast Guard during World War II on the U.S.S. Cavalier, and joined the Arundel County Maryland Police Department in 1959, retiring in 1979. He moved to Brooksville, FL in 1980 and lived there until his death.
He was married to Mary Janice Easton Dignan who passed away in 2002. He was survived by his 3 sons: Alan of Valrico, FL, David of Thurmont, MD, and Kerry of Brooksville. He had 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A family service was held for Don in Brooksville on April 26, 2008.

He will be missed by all that knew him. I had a lot of memories with him and the family. This is a tough time for all but he is in a better place and with his wife and others that have passed on. He will always be with you in your hearts.
