Dorothy Irene Stone, 88, of Clearwater, passed away on Monday (August 2, 2010) at Hospice House Woodside in Pinellas Park, FL. She was born in Chambersburg, PA and moved to the area in 1988 from Carlisle, PA.
She was a homemaker and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Clearwater. She was a member of the Brethren in Christ Church in Carlisle, PA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard C. Stone, Jr., her son Richard III, and her parents, Arthur and Viola Eyer. She is survived by her daughters, Tanya Bowen of Clearwater, FL and Shantay Ryan of Sydney, Australia; four grandchildren, Zachary Jumper of Gettysburg, PA, Austin Bowen of Clearwater, Richard and Stephanie Ryan of Sydney, Australia; and three great-grandchildren, Logan, Mekenna and Aiden Jumper of Gettysburg, PA; three brothers and one sister.
Memorial services will be scheduled for the Hospice House Woodside Chapel at a later date. She will be interred at Bay Pines National Cemetery with her husband.
