Our deepest sympathies to her family. Edrie will remain in our memories forever. We wish her soul peace and comfort in Heaven.
I am so glad I was able to visit with Aunt Edrie & Delores & Leo back in March. She was just as sharp as ever..it was amazing. I can still hear her rattling off all of our birthdays. She will be greatly missed, however, I know she is in a better place, and with her sweet Alfred.

Delores and family: Your mom has been so sweet to stay in touch with us. Her memory of our special days–birthdays, anniversaries, etc.–was astounding. The last time I talked with her just after her birthday, she spoke with such confidence about her relationship with the Lord. She said, “I don’t know why the Lord won’t just take me on. I’m ready to go any time he decides to take me.” She ended our conversation with an “I love you” and a reminder that she might not talk with me again, but reassured me that that would be alright with her because she would be with the Lord. What a great testimony to those of us who remain here anticipating a great reunion some day! Our prayers are with you and your family.

Dearest Dee, Leo, and family, There is so much I don’t remember years ago; and, I honestly have to say, I don’t remember meeting your Mom; but, there are many things I don’t even remember when the kids were small; however, looking at her picture and reading all the entries, she was an amazing woman. Again, Dee, thank you for sharing this with me; and, yes, my dear, we will ALWAYS be the best of friends. God bless you in this very trying time; but, He will see you through. Love always, Betty & Joe
