Clarence E. "Ernie" Clapp, 54, of Pinellas Park, died on Wednesday, November 18, 2009, at the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System in Bay Pines, FL. He was born in Danbury, CT, and moved here in 1970.
He served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the US Army and was an electrician in the commercial construction industry.
He is survived by his mother, Lorraine Dingee of Pinellas Park; brothers, John Clapp of TN, Arthur Clapp of New Milford, CT, Robert Clapp (Terry) of Pinellas Park, and Alfred Dingee of VA; and sister, Audrey Cross of Pinellas Park.
Services will be held at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Bay Pines National Cemetery, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd., Bay Pines, FL 33744.
Ernie was called upon by the lord at 7:55 a.m. Nov. 18th 2009. He will be deeply missed by all. R.I.P dear Brother-in-Law
