Ethel Mae Bollinger, 89, a longtime, former resident of Clearwater, FL, passed away from natural causes at the Mathis Adult Family Home of Oak Harbor, WA on May 09, 2011. She was born Ethel Mae Bartlebaugh in Canoe Creek, PA, June 21, 1921, and was near the middle group of 10 siblings. Ethel moved to Oak Harbor, WA, in 2001 to be near her loving daughter Bonnie, after her husband of 61 years George F. Bollinger went to be with the Lord.

Ethel was a loving Christian mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great, great grandmother, who found so much joy in her daily walk with Christ. She also loved gardening and was at peace when weeding, planting and harvesting. She talked about various flowers as if they were either family or close friends. Ethel is survived by her three children, G. Edward Bollinger of Miami, FL, Mrs. Bonnie M. Judge of Vancouver Island, Canada and Donald F. Bollinger of Toledo, Ohio, plus 18 grand children and their 35 descendants.

Services will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2011, at Ethel’s home church the First Assembly of God Church, 1739 South Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave, Clearwater, FL, 33756 with Rev. Verl Green officiating. There will be a visitation from 10AM – Noon at the church with a funeral service immediately following. She will then be entombed with her husband at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater, FL where their bodies will await the glorious return of their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

In lieu of flowers or other gifts the family requests that you contribute to the United Family Outreach, Food Pantry of First Assemblies of God Clearwater, 1739 South Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, Clearwater, Florida 33756 in memory of Ethel Mae Bollinger.
