Eugene Victor Debs Pelfrey, 88, of Largo, FL died on Friday, December 23, 2011 at Bay Pines VA Health Care System.
Gene was born in Henryetta, OK and moved here from Sacramento/Rio Linda, CA in 2008. He retired as a plumber and was a Navy veteran of WWII. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his three sons, Ronald, Don, and Lonnie; his daughter, Janette (Michael) Clark; two sisters, Louise Sanpanis and Froni Lee Helve; 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren
A graveside service, with military honors, will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2012, at 2:15PM at Bay Pines National Cemetery, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd., Bay Pines, FL.
