Mrs. Dines was a true light in the world and a lovely woman in every sense of the word. I am fortunate enough to be a member of Mrs. Dines’s family by marriage and, while I am sad she has passed, I am gratified to know that God has called home one of his own. All the citizens of heaven will have renewed smiles on their faces once Fanny gets finished with them.
In the few times I was able to visit with her personally, she was genuinely kind and unfailingly positive. When I was presented to her the first time, as my husband’s fiancé, her first words to me were, “You’re beautiful!” While the veracity of her assessment may be questionable, I must say that I still remember that occasion today. I hope the Lord rewarded her similarly when she went home. I am grateful to have known her.
In Fond Remembrance,
Jessica Bergstol
