Fred Emanuel Brenner, 89, of St. Petersburg, a good friend, a devoted veteran and an auspicious entertainer passed away on Monday morning, April 11, 2011 at Bay Pines VA Health Care System.
A St. Petersburg native, his voice filled the air for decades and sang elegantly just last week. His humor kept us smiling always. He was a proud man and praised life all the more. He served his country in the US Army during WWII. We are all very lucky to have known such a sincere person. He was a longtime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
There are no known survivors, but he had many friends.
A graveside service with military honors will be presented at 3:00 PM on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Bay Pines National Cemetery, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd. (727) 398-3426.
